Environmental Technologies
 To respond to our customers’ needs to do more with less, Charter leverages proven and innovative environmental technologies using a hands-on approach. Charter has expertise in construction, operation, and optimization of groundwater treatment systems, ex situ/in situ treatment of contaminants, soil/sludge solidification and stabilization, bioremediation, and subsurface remedial treatment systems. We maximize efficiencies through creative use of traditional technologies, and incorporate innovative/emerging technologies when practical and cost effective, resulting in cost reductions for our customers.
Water/Groundwater Treatment
Charter constructs, operates, and maintains water/groundwater treatment systems to address a wide range of contaminants, conditions, and water quality requirements. We also have expertise in optimizing existing systems to satisfy project-specific effluent requirements and to minimize residuals and disposal costs. To enhance responsiveness, we own specialized equipment, such as mobile treatment units, and employ licensed wastewater treatment plant operators.
Stabilization/Solidification
To limit disposal costs, Charter applies expertise in stabilization and solidification of contaminated soil and sludge, including RCRA and TSCA wastes. We have experience with both in situ and ex situ methods using chemical fixation, mechanical processing and other innovative approaches to satisfy project-specific requirements.
