After several years of working in the industry, Bob Delhome decided to establish his own company in 1997. With only $300 of startup capital, Bob had the drive and energy that characterize successful entrepreneurs to establish Charter Environmental as a hazardous waste management company.
Through exemplary, non-traditional customer service, Charter rapidly built a strong customer base during the early years of operations. Capitalizing on this success and the vast contracting experience among the company's
principals, Bob and his team have expanded Charter's services into environmental, civil, demolition and marine construction.
Today, Charter has grown to be a full-service, self-performing civil and environmental contractor with headquarters located in Wilmington, MA. Our growth has been steady and measured, always ensuring we have the necessary
in-house systems, infrastructure, and resources to support the expansion of our services. Our commitment to quality service is validated by the continued expansion of our customer base. In addition, we have achieved a 95%
repeat business rate, a testimony to our ability to develop solid business-to-business relationships, and a track record of continuously delivering quality results.
The Charter Difference: Reliable, Efficient, Responsive, Experienced
The Charter Advantage
Charter delivers hands on experience that only a self-performing contractor can provide. We have the know-how to maximize productivity yet maintain safety, interpret regulations to reduce environmental liabilities, and provide
field engineering to enhance performance. All of this experience translates to one key advantage — the ability to deliver value-focused solutions that positively impact our customers' bottom line.
Our Value Proposition
At Charter, if we're not adding value to a project, we're not doing our job. Everything we do is focused on providing value to our customers and improving their bottom line by delivering integrated, results-oriented solutions. Through up-front planning and decision-making, Charter delivers innovative solutions that save our clients time and money. We're not interested in executing just another project.
